Redox seeks an interim Head of Legal to serve as lead adviser to the CEO and executive team, with a strong focus on commercial contracts, healthcare compliance, and corporate governance.
Redox operates a cloud-based healthcare interoperability platform, connecting thousands of health systems and technology vendors to enable secure, real-time data exchange. The interim Head of Legal will be embedded within the business, working directly alongside the CEO, CFO, and commercial leaders to support enterprise deal-making, pricing strategy, and regulatory compliance in a highly regulated environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will manage a small legal and compliance team, advise the Board of Directors as needed, and bring a commercial mindset that balances legal risk against business objectives. Redox expects all leaders to actively leverage AI tools to improve throughput and quality of legal work.
- Act as lead negotiator on complex enterprise SaaS deals, partnering with sales, customer success, and finance teams
- Support pricing and packaging decisions for complex contracts alongside the CFO and commercial leadership
- Advise on corporate governance practices, legal documentation, and compliance programmes including HITRUST and SOC 2
- Participate in board meetings and provide legal counsel to the Board and its committees as required
- Lead and develop a small in-house legal and compliance team, operating as a working leader rather than an executive manager
- Use AI tools such as Claude to accelerate contract review, drafting, and legal research
- Head of Legal or equivalent senior in-house legal experience
- Deep commercial and enterprise contracting experience in highly regulated environments, including complex SaaS agreements
- Demonstrated ability to operate hands-on without a large supporting team
- Experience across healthcare verticals such as provider, payer, and/or life sciences
- JD from an accredited law school with an active licence to practise law in the US
- Proficiency with contract lifecycle management and e-signature tools, including Salesforce and DocuSign
