The role ensures continuity during a leadership transition, keeping a high-performing data science and product analytics team productive and aligned while maintaining momentum on an established roadmap.
The consultant will act as Product Owner for both the core data platform and the product analytics ecosystem, oversee production ML model deployment and monitoring, and champion a data-driven culture through experimentation and evidence-based decision making. Strong stakeholder communication and the ability to translate data into growth strategies for Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing leaders are central to the engagement.
- Lead and develop a team of data scientists and product analysts, providing direction and mentorship throughout the transition.
- Serve as Product Owner for the core data platform, setting strategy, priorities, and roadmap execution.
- Own the AI, data science, and analytics roadmap, including customer-facing and AI-powered capabilities.
- Oversee deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of production machine learning models.
- Define and monitor product and divisional performance metrics aligned to business goals.
- Advise cross-functional leaders across Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing by translating data into actionable growth strategies.
- Proven leadership experience in data science, analytics, or product analytics within tech, pharma, medical device, or healthcare products.
- Demonstrated ability to step into interim or transitional leadership roles quickly and execute without disruption.
- Strong Product Owner background defining strategy and roadmaps for data platforms and analytics ecosystems.
- Hands-on knowledge of ML deployment, product analytics tooling, and experimentation frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
