Fractional Head of Communications & Narrative

AiMinr operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the mining industry. This fractional senior role is focused entirely on narrative ownership, not advertising or content calendars. The person will work directly with the CEO, gain full access to field and customer environments, and manage a dedicated production budget for commissioning external filmmakers, writers, and production teams throughout the year.

The role requires someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on craft. Every story produced should move a specific audience, whether investors, industry executives, or potential partners, toward a clear conclusion. Fieldwork in remote industrial settings is part of the brief, and in-sector exclusivity is a condition of the engagement.

• Own and shape the company's core narrative, deciding which stories to tell and to which audiences
• Write and produce finished communications work personally, including long-form content and executive messaging
• Commission and manage external filmmakers, writers, and production teams within a dedicated budget
• Translate complex technical conversations into clear, repeatable messages for industry executives and investors
• Conduct fieldwork in remote industrial environments to source stories directly
• Manage positioning, investor perception, and executive relationships as primary success metrics

• 10 to 15 or more years of experience, with meaningful in-house time working alongside a CEO or founder
• Background in long-form journalism, documentary production, or technical communications at a senior level
• Demonstrated ability to personally produce finished work, not strategy documents about work others created
• Comfort operating fractionally with multiple clients, and acceptance of in-sector exclusivity
• Ability to follow deeply technical conversations and distil them into concise, audience-ready messages
• Discretion when handling sensitive commercial and strategic information
