A senior interim finance leadership role reporting to the Group CEO, covering financial performance, forecasting, cash management and ERP readiness across a growing, internationally focused group.
This interim appointment leads financial delivery across a multi-divisional group at a critical growth stage. The director will own reporting, forecasting, cash and working capital management, and margin improvement while working alongside senior leadership to sharpen commercial decision-making and profitability.
Beyond day-to-day delivery, the role shapes the Group Finance operating model, strengthens controls and team capability across divisional finance, Shared Services and transactional finance, and supports ERP implementation readiness. The successful candidate will also produce a clear strategic handover plan for the incoming permanent Group CFO.
- Lead financial reporting, forecasting, cash management and margin improvement across all group divisions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify performance drivers and support commercial decision-making.
- Define an actionable plan for profitable, scalable international growth with clear owners and measurable outcomes.
- Shape the Group Finance strategy, operating model and priorities to support the next stage of development.
- Strengthen team capability, accountability and financial controls across divisional and transactional finance functions.
- Support ERP implementation by managing finance readiness, testing, issue resolution and adoption, then prepare a strategic handover for the permanent Group CFO.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent international qualification).
- Proven senior finance leadership experience as a Group Finance Director, Finance Director or divisional CFO in an operational business.
- Strong hands-on experience in reporting, forecasting, cash, working capital and margin improvement.
- Demonstrated track record of improving financial performance and translating analysis into practical business actions.
- Practical ERP implementation experience, particularly around finance readiness, testing and adoption.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams, with the ability to combine strategic thinking and decisive execution.
