Fractional General Counsel / Litigation Support Brand Ambassador

IST Management, a privately-owned litigation support services company operating in over 38 US cities since 1997, is looking for a fractional General Counsel who can double as a brand ambassador. The role combines traditional in-house legal advisory work with active business development, including networking with corporate GCs and law firm partners to generate new client relationships and revenue opportunities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the executive and sales teams, coordinating client entertainment and outings while also handling commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and growth-related legal matters such as acquisitions and financing. Compensation structure is negotiable. A JD and active bar certification are required, as is authorisation to work for any US employer.

• Advocate for IST Management within your professional network, working alongside executive and sales teams to identify and close new revenue partnerships
• Plan and coordinate client entertainment, dinners, and networking events in collaboration with internal teams
• Advise owners and executives on legal matters affecting business operations and strategy
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and vendor agreements, and manage ongoing contract obligations
• Ensure the business remains compliant with applicable laws and industry regulations
• Support growth initiatives including acquisitions, financing rounds, and strategic partnerships

• Established network of legal professionals, including corporate GCs and mid-to-large law firm partners
• Experience advising executives on commercial contracts, compliance, and corporate transactions
• Comfortable with business development activity including client entertainment and relationship-building events
• Prior exposure to litigation support, e-discovery, or business process outsourcing environments is advantageous
