Interim FP&A Director

Finatal are partnering with a high-growth professional services business backed by a large-cap private equity investor. The business has delivered strong growth in recent years and is now entering a period of consolidation as it prepares for an eventual exit. The CFO requires a commercially minded FP&A leader to enhance forecasting and reporting capabilities, improve visibility on key performance drivers, and act as a trusted partner to the executive team and investors.

This is a 12-month contract based in London. Candidates must have experience operating within a large-cap PE-backed portfolio company or listed business, and demonstrable experience supporting a private equity exit, refinancing, recapitalisation, IPO, or secondary buyout.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across the business
• Develop and implement best-in-class management reporting and KPI frameworks
• Provide commercial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Drive improvements in FP&A processes, reporting quality and forecasting accuracy
• Deliver detailed analysis on business performance, profitability and cash generation
• Support board reporting, lender reporting, investor communications and value-creation initiatives ahead of exit

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience as an FP&A Director, Head of FP&A or Finance Director
• Background in a large-cap PE-backed portfolio company or a listed business
• Demonstrable experience supporting a private equity exit, refinancing, recapitalisation, IPO or secondary buyout
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and investors
