A 3+ month on-site contract in San Antonio supporting a restaurant and hospitality company with core corporate finance responsibilities and active buy-side and sell-side M&A work.
Robert Half is seeking an Interim Finance Director for a 3+ month contract engagement with a well-established restaurant and hospitality business in San Antonio. The role is fully on-site, five days per week, and requires someone who can contribute from day one with minimal ramp-up time.
The position spans two areas: day-to-day corporate finance leadership, covering budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and month-end reporting, and active M&A execution, including due diligence, integration and divestiture work on both the buy-side and sell-side. The successful contractor will operate within Sage Intacct and partner closely with executive leadership on financial strategy during a period of significant corporate development.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and month-end financial reporting for the corporate finance function
- Support buy-side and sell-side M&A activity, including due diligence, integration planning and divestiture execution
- Operate Sage Intacct for financial reporting, analysis and data management
- Partner with executive leadership to shape financial strategy during an active period of corporate development
- Step into an established finance team and deliver results from day one with minimal ramp-up
- Prior experience in a Director of Finance, VP Finance or equivalent senior finance leadership position
- Demonstrated hands-on M&A experience across both buy-side and sell-side transactions, including due diligence, integration and deal structuring
- Background in restaurant, hospitality, retail or similar multi-unit or multi-location industries
- Proficiency with Sage Intacct for financial reporting and analysis
- Comfortable handling confidential information in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
- Available for a minimum 3-month, fully on-site engagement in San Antonio, five days per week
