Interim Finance Director

This interim engagement is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping and executing financial strategy across a dynamic, growing organisation. The successful candidate will own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles while providing performance insights to support executive decision-making. The role also covers financial reporting, annual audits, cash flow management, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations to improve margins and efficiency.

The position is based in Tullamarine with some flexibility and travel, and requires commencement at the earliest opportunity. CA or CPA qualification is essential, along with a strong track record in fast-paced environments. Manufacturing or similar industry experience is preferred, as is familiarity with international operations.

• Lead the finance function, ensuring robust governance and regulatory compliance
• Own and deliver financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
• Oversee financial reporting, including annual audits and sustainability reporting
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies
• Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to improve margins and efficiencies
• Lead, develop, and coach the finance team to maintain high performance

• CA or CPA qualified with proven senior finance leadership experience
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to build stakeholder trust quickly
• Demonstrated track record in fast-paced, dynamic business environments
• Experience in manufacturing or similar industry preferred
• Familiarity with international operations advantageous
• Available to commence immediately
