Executive Director - Interim

The Renaissance of Florence is a 64-bed assisted living community in Florence, Alabama. The interim Executive Director will provide hands-on leadership across all community functions, including resident care, financial performance, regulatory compliance, staffing, sales, and marketing. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Operations, the ED will be accountable for community P&L, census growth, and maintaining high standards of resident and family satisfaction.

This is a leadership role suited to someone with deep experience in senior living or healthcare management. The successful candidate will build team cohesion, drive occupancy through active sales involvement, and ensure the community meets all local, state, and federal requirements while upholding organisational culture and service standards.

• Lead day-to-day operations across care, finance, HR, compliance, and sales functions
• Manage community P&L within approved budgets, targeting established operating income outcomes
• Oversee marketing and sales strategy to support census growth and occupancy targets
• Hire, develop, and retain multi-functional frontline teams, fostering strong morale and retention
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
• Build service-focused relationships with residents, families, and staff to sustain satisfaction outcomes

• 5+ years as an Executive Director, General Manager, or Regional Director in senior living or healthcare
• Demonstrated P&L management experience, minimum $1-3 million in revenue responsibility
• Proven sales acumen including prospect generation, analytics, and closing
• Experience hiring, developing, and retaining large frontline teams
• Strong conflict resolution skills and a servant-leadership approach
• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred
