A digital-first healthcare technology company seeks an interim performance marketing leader to oversee a $15M+ paid media program across multiple channels during a maternity leave cover.
This interim contract role sits within a rapidly scaling direct-to-consumer healthcare technology business managing over $15M in annual paid media investment. The position covers a maternity leave period with an initial engagement through October 2026, and a strong likelihood of extension into early 2027.
The successful contractor will provide both strategic direction and hands-on oversight across Paid Search, Meta, CTV, Affiliate, and emerging acquisition channels. They will work closely with executive leadership, finance, analytics teams, and agency partners to ensure media spend drives measurable acquisition results, while independently managing pacing, budget allocation, and weekly reporting cycles.
- Lead paid media strategy across Google Ads, Meta, CTV, Affiliate, and emerging acquisition channels
- Oversee budget pacing, channel allocation, and weekly performance reporting
- Drive attribution and incrementality measurement including iROAS, geo testing, and marketing mix modelling
- Partner with analytics teams and agency partners to translate data into actionable recommendations
- Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership including Finance, COO, and CFO
- Identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency across multiple revenue streams
- 5+ years of paid media experience with recent leadership responsibility
- Demonstrated expertise in Google Ads and Meta at scale
- Direct-to-consumer marketing background, preferably with budgets exceeding $10M
- Deep understanding of attribution methodologies, incrementality testing, and iROAS frameworks
- Experience managing agency relationships and interpreting MMM and attribution model outputs
- Executive-level communication skills and ability to operate independently in cross-functional environments
