The Roberts Legal Firm is seeking a part-time Director of Marketing to lead its strategic marketing and growth efforts. The firm focuses on AI law and regulation, and this role is central to positioning it as a national authority in that space. The successful candidate will shape brand identity, build client acquisition channels, and drive promotion of CLE programmes and thought leadership content.
This is a leadership-level engagement suited to a marketing professional with a background in professional services, law firms, or policy-focused organisations. The role is remote-friendly with flexible scheduling, operating at approximately 10 to 20 hours per week on a competitive hourly or retainer basis.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the firm's growth objectives across AI regulation, legislative advisory, and litigation practices.
- Oversee website content, LinkedIn presence, and professional platform management to improve engagement and brand visibility.
- Build and execute email campaigns targeting lawyers, general counsel, policymakers, and law schools to promote CLE programmes and speaking engagements.
- Support publication strategy for articles, alerts, and commentary on AI law and regulation, including podcast promotion and distribution.
- Assist with proposals, pitch materials, and capability statements to support business development and inbound conversion.
- Track registration metrics, inbound inquiries, and campaign performance to continuously optimise marketing activity.
- 5 or more years of marketing experience in a law firm, consulting firm, policy organisation, or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build brand visibility in a niche or emerging practice area.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a high degree of professionalism and independent judgement.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and LinkedIn growth strategies.
- Familiarity with AI, technology policy, privacy, or administrative law is preferred.
- Background in marketing CLE programmes or legal education initiatives is an advantage.
