Director of Human Resources (Part-Time)

Beasley and Henley Interior Design is seeking a senior HR leader to serve as an embedded, part-time partner to its founders and leadership team. The position offers meaningful director-level scope without a full-time commitment, requiring a consistent onsite presence in the Winter Park/Maitland office during business hours.

The successful candidate will bring at least ten years of progressive HR experience, including demonstrated success supporting creative, design, architecture, or professional-services teams. They will be equally comfortable setting HR strategy and handling hands-on execution, from refining onboarding and performance practices to advising on complex employee matters and workforce planning.

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor to founders and senior leadership on all people-related matters
• Coach managers on performance, accountability, conflict resolution, and employee development
• Lead employee relations, providing sound guidance on sensitive and complex situations
• Manage end-to-end recruiting to attract creative, design, and operational talent
• Strengthen onboarding, compensation, benefits, and performance management practices
• Maintain HR policies, compliance with employment law, and oversight of HR systems and reporting

• Ten or more years of progressive HR experience, including Director-level responsibility
• Background supporting creative, design, architecture, agency, or professional-services environments
• Proven track record advising founders, executives, or senior leadership teams
• Strong employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching capability
• Ability to build HR processes and infrastructure within a growing or entrepreneurial organisation
• Solid knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices, with strong executive presence and communication skills
