Director, Contract Management (Cambridge, MA or Nashville, TN)

This role sits at the intersection of sales operations and contract governance within Philips, a global health technology company. The Director is responsible for developing strategic plans that align sales activities with organisational growth objectives, while overseeing the end-to-end contract management process including drafting, negotiation, execution, compliance, and risk mitigation.

The position also encompasses operational excellence, requiring the incumbent to identify capability gaps, facilitate training, and implement process and technology improvements across sales support, analytics, tendering, and quoting functions. Up to 20% travel is required, and the role is based in Cambridge, MA or Nashville, TN with a minimum of three days per week on-site.

• Develop and implement sales operations strategy, aligning activities with organisational growth objectives and market opportunities
• Lead the full contract management lifecycle including drafting, negotiation, execution, compliance, and risk mitigation
• Provide strategic contracting guidance to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Oversee deployment initiatives and drive continuous improvement across sites and teams
• Recommend and implement improvements to sales operations, analytics, tendering, quoting, and technology platforms
• Lead talent development through succession planning, performance management, and employee development programmes

• Minimum 8 years of experience in contracts management, strategic planning, and implementation
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; MBA or Juris Doctor highly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience with large, multifunctional teams
• Experience with KPI management and reporting
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Must reside in or within commuting distance of Cambridge, MA or Nashville, TN
