We Coode is seeking a part-time fractional CTO to own technical direction, set architecture and stack decisions, and guide the development team through project delivery.
We Coode requires senior technical leadership on a part-time basis. The fractional CTO will be responsible for defining system architecture, selecting the appropriate technology stack, and setting development priorities. The role also involves hands-on guidance of the development team and accountability for successful project delivery, providing the strategic and operational depth of a full-time CTO without the associated overhead.
This is a remote engagement suited to an experienced technical leader comfortable operating at both strategic and ground level across a SaaS environment.
- Define and own system architecture decisions and technology stack selection
- Set development priorities and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Guide and mentor the development team through day-to-day technical challenges
- Maintain accountability for project delivery quality and timelines
- Provide strategic technical direction to the founding or leadership team
- Identify and address technical risk, debt, and scalability concerns
- Proven experience in a CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent senior technical leadership role
- Strong background in system architecture and technology stack evaluation
- Ability to lead and coach development teams in a part-time or fractional capacity
- Experience working within SaaS product environments
- Comfortable operating autonomously with minimal internal support structure
