Technical Advisor / Fractional CTO (AI Platform) at StreamTalent

StreamTalent is building Primed, an AI platform that places candidates in conversation with an AI version of the actual hiring leader before the first interview. The platform is being developed by an external agency, and this role brings a senior technical perspective directly to the founder.

The engagement covers two areas: auditing the agency's output for architecture quality, sound decisions and absence of technical shortcuts; and advising on how to make AI personas feel genuinely human, covering personality, tone, memory, conversational flow, guardrails and evaluation. The arrangement starts on an hourly or small-retainer basis, is async-friendly, and carries the potential to grow into a full fractional or full-time CTO role with meaningful equity as the company scales.

• Review agency-shipped code, architecture and design decisions for quality and technical integrity
• Identify and flag technical debt risks before they become costly problems
• Advise on conversational and persona AI design, covering tone, memory and conversational flow
• Define and recommend guardrails and evaluation frameworks for LLM-driven features
• Work directly with the founder to set and maintain technical direction
• Provide ongoing guidance on the modern AI stack, including LLM APIs, agents and prompt strategies

• Demonstrated experience shipping conversational or persona AI products used by real users
• Sufficient seniority to critique third-party code and architecture with confidence
• Fluency across modern LLM APIs, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, guardrails and evaluation
• Prior fractional, advisory or consulting experience
• Comfort working asynchronously at low weekly hours commitment
