A hybrid, equity-first Acting CTO role with Kuerion Ltd in London, seeking a senior technologist to architect and build a multi-tenant B2B enterprise platform from the ground up alongside the Founder.
Kuerion is a B2B platform aiming to replace fragmented commercial discovery, collaboration, and contract execution between enterprise organisations. The Founder has already defined a long-term market strategy, technical architecture blueprint, design system, and brand identity. The platform is currently pre-institutional-funding and operating in partial stealth.
This Acting CTO role is structured as an equity-first executive technical partnership. The successful candidate will personally architect and build core platform components including dynamic database schemas, secure multi-tenant data isolation, and scalable intelligence engines, while co-owning the technical roadmap with the Founder. Post-funding, the role evolves to include recruiting and leading an engineering organisation. A meaningful partner-level ordinary share equity stake is granted on Day 1, with vesting tied to platform delivery and financing milestones. Base salary commences upon closing the first institutional funding round. Unrestricted UK right to work is required.
- Architect, build, and deploy core platform components including dynamic schemas, multi-tenant data isolation, and collaborative workspaces
- Partner with the Founder as technical co-creator to own and drive the product roadmap
- Write production-grade, scalable code throughout Year 1 with a hands-on execution focus
- Translate market vision into a prioritised, lean technical roadmap balancing initial deployment against future expansion
- Represent the company alongside the Founder in investor pitches and technical whitepaper authorship
- Embed zero-trust security, high-throughput performance, and robust API connectivity into the platform from day one
- Proven experience architecting complex multi-tenant B2B web platforms or real-time collaborative applications
- Strong full-stack and systems architecture capability across modern ecosystems such as React/Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python or Go, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability and willingness to invest intensive hands-on effort during the pre-funding build phase
- Commercial maturity to communicate technical vision clearly to investors, clients, and future team members
- Unrestricted UK right to work (visa sponsorship not available)
- Based in or within easy reach of London, comfortable with an initial period of predominantly in-person work
