Interim Chief Supply Chain Officer

xNorth is placing an Interim Chief Supply Chain Officer into a complex, capital-intensive organisation for a six-month engagement beginning immediately. The mandate covers full ownership of planning, procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory, logistics, and supplier management, with a direct reporting line to the CEO.

The successful candidate will conduct a rapid supply chain assessment within the first 30 days, execute a structured action plan over 60 to 90 days, and develop a longer-term transformation roadmap. Key priorities include stabilising material availability and supplier performance, resolving capacity and logistics constraints, and strengthening S&OP and IBP processes. Regular executive reporting on performance, risks, and decisions will be required throughout the engagement.

• Lead planning, procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory, logistics, and supplier management functions from day one.
• Conduct a rapid supply chain assessment and execute a structured 30, 60, and 90-day action plan.
• Stabilise supplier performance, material availability, and delivery reliability across the network.
• Qualify, onboard, and develop multiple suppliers while managing escalations and recovery plans.
• Strengthen demand planning, capacity planning, and S&OP or IBP processes to improve visibility.
• Develop a sustainable operating model and supply chain transformation roadmap for the executive team.

• At least 15 years of senior supply chain leadership experience in complex, capital-intensive, or regulated industries.
• Previous experience as a CSCO, CPO, EVP, or SVP of Supply Chain at a comparable organisation.
• Relevant industry background in aerospace, defence, nuclear, energy, large-scale construction, or advanced manufacturing.
• Demonstrated track record leading supply chain stabilisation, transformation, or performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier development, procurement, and S&OP or IBP.
• Immediate availability to commence the engagement in Texas.
