Controller - Philadelphia, PA - Full-Time or Part-Time

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is a national provider of outsourced accounting services to nonprofit organisations, operating across the Greater Philadelphia region including Bensalem, King of Prussia, Villanova, Wilmington DE, and Cherry Hill NJ. The Controller will act as an outsourced Controller and CFO across a portfolio of nonprofit clients, managing the full accounting function for each. This includes month-end close, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, grant management, funder reporting, and annual audit preparation. The role also involves board-level presentations and ongoing process improvement work across client organisations.

• Serve as outsourced Controller and CFO for multiple nonprofit clients simultaneously
• Produce financial reports and board presentations to support management decision making
• Manage transactional accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Oversee grant management, cost allocations, and funder reporting requirements
• Prepare for and manage annual audit processes across client engagements
• Recommend and implement improvements to internal controls, compliance policies, and accounting procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 5 to 7 or more years of accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, demonstrated in practice
• Experience with multiple general ledger packages, particularly QuickBooks and electronic bill pay systems
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships independently and respond in a timely manner
• Nonprofit accounting, public accounting, or consulting experience is an advantage; CPA certification is a plus
