Controller - Pacific Northwest - Full-Time or Part-Time

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) provides outsourced accounting services to nonprofit organisations across the US, with a Pacific Northwest market spanning Oregon and Washington. This Controller position supports multiple nonprofit clients simultaneously, working both virtually and on-site in the Portland Metro, Seattle Metro, and Puget Sound regions.

The role is well suited to an experienced accounting professional who is comfortable advising boards, finance committees, and client staff. • Serve as outsourced Controller or CFO for a portfolio of nonprofit clients across the Pacific Northwest
• Prepare and present financial reports for management, boards, and finance committees
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting operations, internal controls, and compliance procedures
• Manage transactional activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Oversee grant management, fund allocations, and funder reporting
• Prepare for and coordinate annual audits, and deliver training to client staff

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience, with recent nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in nonprofit financial reporting, compliance, and grant management
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks and other general ledger systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships independently in a hybrid work setting
• CPA certification is advantageous; bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus
