Interim Controller - 3 Month Contract - Fort Worth, TX

Reporting to the Group CFO, this interim Controller engagement covers leadership and day-to-day oversight of the North American finance function for a privately owned, investor-backed renewables servicing and engineering business. The role is initially a three-month contract and suits a finance professional who is immediately or shortly available and comfortable stepping into an established team.

The position is primarily based at the Fort Worth office, with one to two days remote per week. The Controller will manage a team of four to six and liaise closely with both the local North American leadership and the broader international finance group. CPA or CMA qualification and ten or more years of post-qualification experience are preferred.

• Oversee the North American finance function and manage a team of four to six direct reports
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across the business
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management activities
• Maintain appropriate financial controls and ensure ongoing compliance
• Support accounting, audit, and tax requirements and liaise with external advisers
• Drive process and systems improvements and provide financial stability during the permanent recruitment process

• Prior experience in a senior finance role such as Controller, Finance Director, or Head of Finance
• Strong accounting and financial reporting capability with team management experience
• Sound forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning skills
• Ability to engage effectively with both finance and operational stakeholders
• CPA or CMA qualification with ten or more years of post-qualification experience preferred
• Immediate or short-notice availability and willingness to work from Fort Worth with limited remote days
