Part-Time Controller/Office Manager

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting is placing a part-time Controller and Accounting Manager with a growing construction-related company. The position is fully remote and offers considerable scheduling flexibility, making it well suited to an experienced accounting professional seeking a steady part-time engagement.

The role covers the full scope of day-to-day accounting and financial reporting, with a specific focus on construction accounting disciplines including WIP schedules, job costing, and project-level financial oversight. The successful candidate will work closely with company leadership on both financial and operational matters and will use Procore Financials and QuickBooks as the primary accounting platforms.

• Manage the general ledger and produce monthly financial reports
• Maintain WIP schedules and job costing across active projects
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts on an ongoing basis
• Review project financial data to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Partner with company leadership on financial and operational matters, and assist with general administrative tasks as required

• Prior accounting experience in construction or a project-based business environment
• Hands-on experience with Procore Financials (required)
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Demonstrated experience with WIP reporting and job costing
• Solid understanding of AP, AR, monthly financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
