CopilotIQ seeks a fractional Chief Medical Officer to lead clinical credibility across enterprise sales, payor partnerships, and product strategy for an AI-powered in-home chronic care platform.
CopilotIQ, in partnership with Biofourmis, operates an AI-driven in-home care platform covering chronic disease management across hypertension, diabetes, and congestive heart failure. The Fractional CMO is primarily an externally facing clinical executive, supporting commercial growth and strategic partnerships rather than internal clinical operations.
This person will work closely with Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership to articulate the clinical value of the platform to health plans, risk-bearing organisations, and health systems. Responsibilities span enterprise sales engagements, RFP responses, payor executive briefings, industry conference representation, and driving research publications that demonstrate clinical and financial outcomes. The role also advises product teams on clinical innovation and future capabilities.
- Lead clinical discussions during enterprise sales engagements with health plans and risk-bearing organisations
- Present the care model, evidence base, and expected outcomes for hypertension, diabetes, and CHF programmes
- Build relationships with Chief Medical Officers, Medical Directors, and population health and quality leaders
- Support RFP responses, finalist presentations, and executive briefings alongside the sales team
- Represent the company at industry conferences, payor forums, and customer events
- Drive publication of research demonstrating clinical and financial outcomes for payor partners
- MD with unrestricted U.S. medical licence and board certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, or a related specialty
- 10 or more years of clinical leadership experience
- Deep knowledge of hypertension, diabetes, and congestive heart failure management
- Familiarity with CMS Stars, HEDIS, NCQA, and quality improvement programmes
- Experience working with Medicare Advantage populations and value-based care models
- Proven ability to present to executive healthcare audiences including payors and health system leaders
