Interim Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Kirby Bates Associates is seeking an experienced interim Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer to guide HR strategy and operations for a multi-site health system in the Northern Mid-West. The successful candidate will manage three direct reports and hold responsibility across labour relations, union negotiations, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition and retention, organisational design, and management development.

Hospital and union experience is required. The role is supported by an attractive package that includes housing, transportation, and regular travel home. Final rate is determined by experience, expertise, and education.

• Lead HR strategy and operations across a multi-site health system
• Manage three direct reports within the HR function
• Oversee labour relations and conduct union negotiations
• Direct compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and retention programmes
• Drive organisational design and management development initiatives
• Ensure HR practices align with corporate and healthcare regulatory requirements

• Master's degree in Business, Human Resources Administration, or Organisational Resources
• Eight to ten years of HR responsibility, including at least five years in an executive or management capacity
• Experience in a multi-organisational corporate or healthcare environment
• Demonstrated hospital and union experience (required)
• Background in labour relations, compensation and benefits, recruitment, and organisational design
