Ramp is seeking a Senior Channel Partner Manager to own relationships with global professional services firms and GSIs, building structured go-to-market partnerships across complex, matrixed organisations.
Ramp is building institutional partnerships with the largest global professional services firms and system integrators, including Big Four consulting firms and GSIs that shape finance transformation and ERP modernisation decisions for enterprise CFOs. These relationships are early and largely informal, so this role requires someone comfortable building from scratch, developing firm-specific go-to-market motions that span executive engagement, co-sell, implementation alignment, and thought leadership.
The successful candidate will own a portfolio of firms, map stakeholders across service lines, develop partnership theses, negotiate initial formal agreements, and coordinate cross-functional execution involving sales, customer success, product, and AI solutions teams. Approximately 25% travel is expected, with a preference for candidates based in New York.
- Own Ramp's relationships with a portfolio of global professional services firms, GSIs, and consulting organisations as the primary relationship holder
- Map each firm's structure and build credibility with partners, practice leaders, alliance teams, and client-service teams
- Develop partnership theses and executive sponsor plans, identifying target practices and client entry points for each firm
- Negotiate and close the first formal agreements between Ramp and partner firms
- Build market-facing proof points through executive events, thought leadership, and shared client stories in collaboration with marketing and leadership
- Establish and maintain operating cadences including relationship maps, firm plans, account maps, and next steps
- 6+ years of experience in consulting, alliances, partnerships, or an adjacent function, with preference for time inside a top-tier professional services or global consulting firm
- Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to earn trust quickly and represent the organisation independently in senior meetings
- Strong understanding of how large, matrixed professional services firms operate, including practice incentive structures and technology partner endorsement processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and complex stakeholder environments simultaneously
- A builder's instinct - comfortable operating without a playbook and able to bring structure to ambiguous situations
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% and to be based in a major metropolitan area, preferably New York
