A fractional CFO engagement with a construction-focused consulting firm, providing hands-on finance leadership across internal operations and client engagements in the construction sector.
Level Workforce is a consulting and workforce solutions firm serving construction, real estate, and finance clients. This fractional CFO role combines internal finance leadership with direct client advisory work, requiring genuine hands-on involvement rather than an advisory-only arrangement. The successful candidate will own month-end and year-end close, build dashboards and KPIs, manage WIP schedules and percentage-of-completion accounting, oversee job costing and cost-to-complete forecasting, and lead a small accounting team.
Client-facing responsibilities include diagnosing financial and operational gaps in construction businesses, delivering fractional CFO support, and leading financial cleanup and system implementation projects. The engagement is structured as a 1099 contract at approximately 10 to 15 hours per week, fully remote.
