A growing business in the sustainable resources and supply chain sector is seeking a fractional CFO to lead a strategic acquisition. The hire will work directly alongside the CEO and senior leadership team on evaluating and executing a potential transaction, while also providing broader strategic finance support across the business.
The initial focus covers M&A and transaction support, financial due diligence, deal structuring, strategic financial planning, and stakeholder and investor engagement. Time commitment and duration are being finalised, and the arrangement is expected to sit at the fractional or interim level for a Series A company operating in resources and infrastructure.
- Evaluate, structure and support execution of a potential acquisition transaction
- Lead financial due diligence processes across target opportunities
- Design and assess deal structures in collaboration with the CEO
- Develop and maintain strategic financial planning frameworks
- Manage engagement with stakeholders and investors throughout the process
- Provide senior finance leadership across the broader business as required
- Proven experience as a fractional or interim CFO
- Strong track record in M&A, deal structuring and transaction support
- Comfortable operating at CEO and board level on a strategic mandate
- Commercially minded with strong stakeholder and investor communication skills
- Background in resources, infrastructure or adjacent sectors preferred
