An early-stage software company seeks a fractional CFO to professionalise its finance function across a 6 to 9 month remote engagement, supporting growth planning, fundraising preparation, and financial operations.
The client is an early-stage software business looking to bring senior finance leadership into the organisation on a fractional basis. The engagement is fully remote and expected to run for 6 to 9 months, with the CFO acting as a strategic adviser to the executive team across growth planning, capital allocation, and key business decisions.
The role spans the full finance function: building and maintaining operating models, budgets, forecasts, and cash projections; preparing investor-ready materials and board reporting; defining recurring-revenue KPIs; overseeing outsourced accounting; and strengthening internal controls and finance processes to support future scale.

- Senior finance leadership experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or comparable role
- Background supporting early-stage, venture-backed software or recurring-revenue businesses
- Advanced financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash-planning capabilities
