Vaco by Highspring seeks an experienced Interim CFO to support a critical leadership transition for a private equity-backed restaurant group. The role requires a seasoned restaurant finance executive with board-level credibility to provide strategic financial guidance during a 4-6 month transitional period.
This remote position based in Phoenix, AZ includes initial onsite onboarding and requires 10-20 hours per week at $100-125 per hour. The successful candidate will work directly with the Interim CEO and engage with the PE firm's Managing Director and board members.
- Partner with Interim CEO to deliver financial leadership during organisational transition
- Serve as senior financial voice with PE firm Managing Director and board
- Oversee and mentor existing finance team members
- Manage financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Conduct cash flow analysis and strategic financial planning
- Provide operational execution support alongside strategic thinking
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CFO-level experience in restaurant industry, preferably full-service
- Proven combination of strategic thinking and operational execution
- Board-level presence and credibility with PE stakeholders
- Ability to commit to 4-6 month project duration
- Experience mentoring and leading finance teams
