Tatum by Randstad has identified an urgent interim CFO opportunity in Houston, TX for a large multinational client. This role requires a senior finance executive with boardroom presence and experience in complex corporate environments.
The position involves leading the Finance and Accounting team while working closely with executive leadership to drive business performance. Focus areas include technical accounting accuracy, timely reporting, and maintaining audit readiness across all financial functions.
- Lead Finance and Accounting team including Controller, Treasurer, Tax GM, and FP&A Manager
- Drive business performance with CEO, COO and operating leadership
- Ensure technical accounting accuracy and timely reporting
- Manage compliance, risk and pricing for Asset Backed Trading function
- Participate actively in budgeting, forecasting and financial analytics
- Support litigation matters and manage orderly transition to permanent CFO
- CPA qualification with top-tier public accounting experience and MBA
- Extensive CFO experience in mega-cap companies
- Oil and Gas industry background, preferably refining or petrochemical
- Proficiency in technical accounting, reporting, audits and compliance
- Strong leadership and communication skills with boardroom presence
- Experience managing complex corporate structures and high-stakes transitions
