Fractional Chief Financial Officer (Interim)

TAINA Technology seeks a fractional Chief Financial Officer for temporary sickness cover in a fully remote, flexible arrangement. This role involves leading financial strategy, planning, and reporting to bank and venture investors while supporting the company's growth through budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling.

For candidates with relevant experience and interest in broader responsibilities, there's potential to extend this position into a full-time Chief Operating Officer role covering risk management, vendor risk management, ISO compliance, and commercial operations.

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and reporting to bank and venture investors
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and management reports
• Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and funding strategies
• Partner with senior leadership on investment decisions and risk management
• Support regulatory and tax compliance requirements
• Provide financial insights to executive team and board members

• Proven experience in senior financial leadership role within venture-backed technology business
• Strong foundation in finance with expertise in financial planning and analysis
• Advanced knowledge of financial statements and reporting, including IFRS/UK GAAP
• Track record of working at board level with comparable investors
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision support
• SaaS and native AI experience is advantageous
