Ryn*El Tech Inc. is developing an industrial-scale hydroponics and aquaculture facility in Utah, designed to utilise waste heat and CO₂ from combustion power plants. The company has submitted a $1M State of Utah food-safety grant application, holds hard bids on major components, and plans to pair a successful grant with approximately $2M in bank financing. A secondary focus covers tier-2 aerospace parts manufacturing.
This is primarily an equity and advisory arrangement at the pre-funding stage, with scope to transition to paid engagement once financing is secured. Remote work is fully supported, with occasional in-person meetings in Utah welcomed but not required.
- Develop a sources and uses of funds schedule aligned to the project's capital plan
- Build multi-year pro forma financial statements covering income, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Model debt service coverage ratios and run sensitivity analyses across key assumptions
- Prepare clear financial documentation suitable for state grant follow-up and commercial bank review
- Present financial outputs in accessible terms to non-financial stakeholders and project partners
- Proven experience building financial models for bank loans, project finance, or grant-supported capital projects
- Familiarity with agricultural, controlled-environment agriculture, industrial, or infrastructure-style projects
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to structure clean, auditable models
- Comfortable working primarily on equity and advisory compensation at the pre-funding stage
- Ability to produce documentation that meets commercial bank and state grant reviewer standards
