The longer-term vision is to build broader financial infrastructure for underserved gig-economy workers operating on subscription and platform-licensing models.
The fractional CFO will work directly alongside the founders to establish sound financial foundations ahead of scale. Key areas include pre-seed and seed fundraising readiness, financial narrative development, SEIS/EIS considerations, unit economics design, and due diligence preparation. This is a hands-on, founder-facing engagement suited to someone who enjoys shaping strategy at the earliest stages.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and cash-flow plans
- Develop fundraising strategy and prepare investor-ready materials for pre-seed and seed rounds
- Define unit economics, including CAC, LTV and pricing frameworks
- Lead budgeting and scenario planning across the business
- Advise on SEIS/EIS eligibility and related fundraising considerations
- Prepare due diligence documentation and build scalable financial infrastructure
- CFO or Finance Director experience with UK startups or scaleups
- Strong background in fintech, SaaS or technology businesses
- Demonstrated experience supporting pre-seed or seed fundraising rounds
- Hands-on financial modelling capability with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of UK early-stage investment frameworks, including SEIS and EIS
- Comfort working directly with founders and early investors in a fractional capacity
