Fractional Commercial Finance & Governance Director (ACA / FCA)

Reward Flight Finder is a small, growing travel technology platform operating at the intersection of live data pipelines and consumer membership. With a team of four and heavy use of external contractors, the company is seeking a fractional Chartered Accountant to take ownership of financial health, regulatory compliance, and commercial governance as a founding director steps back from daily operations.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused role. You will work directly with the CEO, Head of Operations, and Tech Lead, deploying agentic AI and automation tools to keep operations lean and reporting accurate. The commitment is two to three days per month, with occasional in-person meetings in London. Note: The listed day rate is £750 to £1,000 per day.

• Manage all monthly and annual accounting, tax strategies, cash flow forecasting, and P&L optimisation
• Act as the primary gatekeeper for regulatory compliance, contract reviews, and GDPR alignment across all operations
• Champion and implement agentic AI workflows to automate routine financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit trails
• Partner with leadership to analyse unit economics including LTV/CAC, subscriber churn, and partner yields to inform business planning
• Provide financial scrutiny over developer, IT, and marketing contractor deliverables to ensure strong ROI on external spend

• ACA or FCA qualified Chartered Accountant with demonstrable experience in UK SMEs, SaaS, or digital businesses
• Hands-on financial modelling capability with a bias toward direct execution rather than oversight only
• Practical experience with agentic AI tools, automation scripting, and connecting financial systems via APIs, Python, or SQL
• Commercially minded with sound risk management instincts and an understanding of how finance supports growth strategy
• Strong communicator able to translate complex financial metrics clearly for founders and non-finance stakeholders
• Based in London or the Southeast, with availability for occasional face-to-face strategic sessions in London
