As Fractional CFO, you will work directly alongside founder Stefan Duda to construct a rigorous financial engine fit for scaling. The remit spans complex financial modelling, runway oversight, cash flow forecasting, margin analysis, and budget tracking. You will also own the preparation of investor materials and manage due diligence as the business readies for a Series A raise.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models covering growth scenarios, profitability paths, and equipment-as-a-service offerings.
- Lead Series A fundraising preparations, including investor materials, due diligence management, and narrative development.
- Establish rigorous cash flow forecasting, margin analysis, and budget tracking across the UK and Ireland portfolio.
- Manage runway and provide ongoing financial discipline to support founder decision-making.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable strategy for non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment, ideally from Seed to Series A stage.
- Deep expertise in financial modelling and managing the full investor relations and fundraising lifecycle.
- Experience with tech-enabled or physical infrastructure businesses is advantageous.
- Strong commercial instincts with the ability to communicate clearly with non-finance founders.
- Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment and building processes from the ground up.
