A fractional Strategic Finance Lead role with QuantFi, serving as the primary finance partner across multiple concurrent client engagements, combining senior CFO-level advisory with hands-on AI workflow development.
QuantFi operates as an AI-enabled managed finance function for scaling, investor-backed, and transition-stage companies. As Strategic Finance Lead, you will serve as the fractional finance partner across 4 to 6 concurrent client engagements, owning forecasting, 13-week cash management, board and investor reporting, and fundraise and M&A support. You will direct specialist delivery teams and act as a trusted finance voice for founders, CEOs, and client finance leaders.
Beyond client delivery, you will serve as the finance domain lead for builds within QuantFi OS, translating real-world finance processes into agent-executable workflows, pressure-testing automation outputs against CFO-grade standards, and prototyping internal tools independently. The managing partners hold board and investor relationships, providing senior support on complex conversations while offering a clear path to expanded ownership over time.
- Lead fractional finance engagements across 4 to 6 concurrent clients, covering forecasting, budgeting, 13-week cash flow, and board and investor reporting
- Own close quality and delivery timelines, directing specialist delivery teams across each engagement
- Advise founders, CEOs, and client finance leaders on cash management, spend prioritisation, and strategic tradeoffs
- Serve as the finance domain lead for QuantFi OS, translating finance processes into agent-executable workflows with clear controls and review gates
- Pressure-test AI agent outputs against controller and CFO-level standards to determine what is safe to automate
- Prototype automations and internal tools independently, and help scope and price engagements alongside the managing partners
- 6 to 9 years of experience across public accounting, investment banking, consulting, FP&A, or startup and fractional CFO roles
- Proven track record advising founders, owners, and finance chiefs at SMBs and startups, with accountability for executive-grade financial outputs
- Demonstrated AI-native capability including working tools built with LLMs and a public code portfolio (GitHub or equivalent) required at application
- Working fluency in Python or TypeScript, SQL, and APIs; hands-on experience with agent frameworks and LLM tooling such as Claude and MCP servers is a strong plus
- Deep familiarity with core finance systems including QuickBooks Online and NetSuite, and surrounding stack covering billing, payroll, expense, and banking
- Ability to manage multiple engagements independently across sector generalist contexts including SaaS, CPG, Manufacturing, FinTech, and asset-based businesses
