QuantFi is seeking a senior, hands-on Fractional CFO to lead client engagements across SaaS and CPG companies, serving as strategic lead and primary point of contact with a dedicated supporting team.
This is a leadership-level fractional engagement, not an analytical support role. The CFO owns each client engagement end to end, directing a dedicated team comprising a controller, financial analyst, and bookkeeper. Engagements span SaaS and CPG clients, and candidates with deep expertise in either or both verticals are welcomed.
The role involves setting engagement roadmaps, sequencing priorities, and communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Core financial responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, unit economics modelling, and leadership reporting. Compensation is $150 to $200 per hour depending on experience, and the position is fully remote.
- Own client engagements end to end, maintaining visibility across all workstreams and outcomes
- Define and roadmap each engagement, setting priorities and timelines to keep work on track
- Coordinate and direct the supporting finance team, including controller, financial analyst, and bookkeeper
- Sequence client priorities so the highest-impact work is completed first
- Communicate findings and recommended actions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences through conversation, written updates, and financial models
- Lead financial strategy across forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, unit economics, and leadership reporting
- 10 or more years of progressive finance experience, including CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent leadership at a SaaS or CPG company
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and manage engagements without close oversight
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven experience roadmapping multi-stakeholder engagements and managing distributed finance staff
- Highly organised, responsive, and dependable with strong attention to deadlines
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or a similar general ledger, plus modern planning and reporting tools
