Fractional CFO - M&A Experience Required

In this role you will act as the primary financial partner for a portfolio of clients, translating financial data into decisions that improve profitability and enterprise value. You will lead monthly business reviews, oversee financial reporting quality, and advise on strategic initiatives including capital allocation, growth planning, exit readiness, and M&A transactions. The environment is entrepreneurial and fast-paced, requiring strong client-facing communication and the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

• Serve as day-to-day CFO and strategic finance lead for a portfolio of home-services clients
• Build and maintain 3-statement financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital across client accounts
• Deliver KPI reporting and operational analysis to business owners and leadership teams
• Lead monthly business review meetings and present data-driven recommendations
• Advise on M&A, exit readiness, capital decisions, and growth planning initiatives

• Significant experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory
• Hands-on M&A experience including deal execution, due diligence, or transaction advisory
• Advanced financial modelling skills in Excel, including 3-statement model ownership
• Demonstrated experience in FP&A, variance analysis, and KPI reporting
• Strong communication skills with comfort leading meetings directly with business owners
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities concurrently, US-based
