Next in Natural is a Brooklyn-based operating holding company building a portfolio of organic and natural food and beverage brands, including Chameleon Coffee, Three Trees, Aura Bora and others. The company is seeking a fractional CFO to bring financial rigour and strategic oversight across its portfolio during a growth phase.
The role spans financial structure design, KPI and ROI tracking at the brand and initiative level, capital strategy ownership, and investor relations. The successful candidate will also support M&A activities and oversee finance team members to build scalable processes suited to a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. The listing notes a monthly retainer arrangement with additional performance upside.
- Build a clear financial structure across the holding company and each sister company
- Define and track KPIs and ROI by brand, team and initiative
- Lead financial reporting and dashboards for leadership, the board and investors
- Own capital strategy including models, forecasts, investor materials and diligence readiness
- Support leadership in investor meetings and maintain transparent investor communications
- Support M&A activities and manage direct reports to scale finance processes
- 10 or more years in finance leadership, with CFO or fractional CFO experience
- Holding company or multi-brand portfolio experience required
- Demonstrated success supporting capital raises (equity and debt) and preparing companies for diligence
- Strong investor relations skills; an existing investor network is advantageous
- Experience leading and developing finance team members in fast-moving environments
- Background in CPG, food and beverage, or natural and organic sectors preferred
