The role sits within client leadership teams, providing hands-on financial guidance rather than advisory-from-a-distance reporting. Clients, tools, and methodology are provided, so the focus remains on delivering tangible business outcomes.
The position spans commercial performance improvement, capital evaluation, systems and reporting uplift, and leadership team coaching. It suits a senior finance professional who thrives on working directly with business owners and CEOs to improve profitability, working capital, and long-term business value. EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) experience is highly regarded.
- Sit within client leadership teams and contribute to key commercial decisions
- Improve profitability, margins, cash flow, and working capital across client portfolios
- Evaluate growth opportunities, capital deployment, acquisitions, and restructures
- Coach and develop client finance teams, building scalable finance functions
- Improve financial systems, reporting structures, and accountability frameworks
- Lead strategic projects and ensure recommendations translate into measurable outcomes
- Senior finance background as a CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, or equivalent
- Proven track record improving profitability and cash flow in privately-owned businesses
- Strong commercial acumen with experience working across multiple business contexts
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and board presentation skills
- Experience coaching and developing finance professionals
- EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) experience highly regarded
