Interim CFO - Transformation

This senior interim role sits across Finance, Operations and Technology for an ambitious e-commerce business undergoing meaningful change. Working closely with the MD and Board, the CFO will take full ownership of financial management while providing board-level leadership over a major technology replatform and ERP project, a new category launch, and a cross-functional team of up to seven people.

The engagement runs for 14 months starting in October, based in Central London on a hybrid basis. The rate is £900 to £1,200 per day inside IR35, or equivalent on an annual salary basis. The ideal candidate brings deep senior finance experience, a hands-on commercial style, and a track record managing technology transformation within an e-commerce or consumer business.

• Take full ownership of finance including cash flow, forecasting, reporting, governance and funding
• Provide board-level oversight of a major technology replatform and ERP implementation
• Lead Operations and manage a significant new category launch
• Manage a cross-functional team of up to seven across finance, technology and operations
• Drive progress across multiple strategic projects in partnership with the MD and Board

• Proven track record as a CFO, ideally within a high-growth business
• Demonstrated experience managing technology and transformation functions
• Background in e-commerce or consumer-facing businesses
• Exposure to significant technology transformation projects, including replatforming or ERP rollouts
• Hands-on, commercial approach with strong board-level credibility
