Interim Chief Financial Officer

A fast-moving direct-to-consumer brand is seeking a hands-on interim CFO to step in immediately on a full-time basis. The business is navigating a period of significant pressure and requires a calm, commercially astute finance leader to establish clarity and control across the finance function.

The successful candidate will own short-term cash visibility, forecasting, and working capital management, while building flexible scenario models to guide key trading and investment decisions. They will partner closely with the senior leadership team to develop and execute a turnaround plan spanning pricing, cost base, and growth priorities.

• Take charge of the finance function and stabilise operations during a period of commercial pressure
• Build and maintain flexible scenario models to inform trading and investment decisions
• Own short-term cash visibility, rolling forecasts, and working capital management
• Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute a turnaround plan covering pricing, costs, and growth
• Provide credible, clear financial communication to funders and wider stakeholders

• Prior experience as a CFO or senior Finance Director
• Strong direct-to-consumer (D2C) background, considered essential
• Demonstrated exposure to turnaround, restructuring, or distressed business situations
• Ability to build credibility quickly with senior teams, investors, and external stakeholders
• Available to start immediately on a full-time interim basis
