Interim Chief Financial Officer

Conexus is a private equity-backed industrial services business operating across multiple Southwestern states, providing specialist equipment rental, field services, and engineered solutions for infrastructure, industrial, and municipal projects. The company generates just under $100M in annual revenue and is navigating an executive leadership transition.

The Interim CFO will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the private equity sponsor to maintain continuity across all finance and accounting functions. This is an approximately three to four month engagement requiring four days per week on-site in Chandler, AZ. Compensation is $5,000 to $6,000 per week.

• Oversee the monthly close process, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations
• Manage billing, accounts receivable, cash flow, and treasury activities
• Support capital expenditure planning and financial forecasting
• Maintain momentum on finance systems and process improvement initiatives
• Partner with the CEO and private equity sponsor on operational and strategic decisions
• Provide direct leadership to the Controller, FP&A Manager, and broader accounting team

• Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience required
• Strong operational finance background with a hands-on, team-oriented leadership style
• Experience in construction, industrial services, specialty rental, manufacturing, or other project-based industries
• Demonstrated oversight of accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and operational finance
• Availability to work on-site in Chandler, AZ four days per week for the duration of the engagement
