The selected consultant will partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to deliver strategic and operational financial guidance throughout a pivotal transition. Responsibilities span the full finance function, including accounting operations, treasury, FP&A, banking relationships, and performance management.
This is a hands-on role suited to a finance leader with deep manufacturing experience and a track record guiding organisations through leadership transitions, growth initiatives, or operational transformations. The engagement offers immediate impact, with scope covering cost accounting, internal controls, cash flow optimisation, and ERP improvements.
- Advise the CEO, Board, and executive team on financial strategy and business performance.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing finance functions.
- Manage cash forecasting, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and covenant compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Support ERP optimisation, M&A activity, and profitability improvement projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- 15 or more years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
- Prior experience in a CFO, Interim CFO, VP of Finance, or Finance Director capacity.
- Demonstrated manufacturing industry experience, including cost accounting and inventory-intensive environments.
- Proven track record managing banking relationships, debt facilities, and lender reporting.
- Experience supporting privately held, family-owned, or private equity-backed businesses preferred.
