The firm connects clients with experienced financial professionals, removing the need for a full-time hire while providing CFO-level expertise across strategy, reporting, and planning.
This part-time role involves managing accounting functions for multiple clients, with a focus on technical accounting, financial modelling, and long-range strategic planning. The position offers flexible hours of 10 to 20 per week and suits a senior finance professional with public accounting experience and strong GAAP knowledge.
- Serve as a strategic financial advisor to client executive leadership, supporting growth initiatives and long-term planning
- Lead financial forecasting, scenario modelling, and strategy to inform key business decisions
- Oversee accounting and finance functions across client engagements, ensuring accuracy and scalability
- Present financial insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership, boards, or investors
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance targets for multiple clients
- Support audits, due diligence processes, and investor or board reporting as required
- 5 or more years of CFO-level experience with strong working knowledge of GAAP
- Proven track record in financial modelling, long-range planning, and scenario analysis
- Technical understanding of revenue recognition, cash flow management, and financial statement consolidation
- Experience overseeing ERP and financial system implementations or optimisations (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online)
- Experience supporting audits, due diligence, or investor and board reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA licence preferred but not required
