A fractional CFO engagement with a growing international travel and travel-tech group, focused on financial planning, management reporting, investor readiness, and strategic advisory to owners and management.
Amitours Group is seeking a fractional CFO to strengthen financial planning and decision-making across a multi-entity international travel group. The role sits above day-to-day accounting and focuses on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, management reporting, and KPI frameworks. You will work directly with owners and management on a part-time, ongoing basis, with scope agreed individually.
The engagement also covers investor readiness, including improving internal controls, preparing financial processes to meet investor expectations, and supporting fundraising or M&A diligence. The group operates across multiple entities and currencies, including EU, UK, and Swiss structures, so comfort with international group finance is essential.
- Build and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow plans to support management decisions
- Design and improve management reporting and KPI/OKR frameworks that communicate clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Accelerate month-end close processes and strengthen the overall finance function
- Improve internal financial controls and reporting quality to meet investor expectations
- Support communication with current and prospective investors, including due diligence and M&A readiness
- Provide concise financial advisory and second-opinion input ahead of key business decisions
- Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, or fractional/interim CFO, preferably in SME or scale-up environments
- Strong hands-on capability in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modelling
- Experience building or rebuilding management reporting and KPI frameworks from scratch
- Comfortable operating within multi-entity, multi-currency group structures
- Prior exposure to investor due diligence, fundraising, or M&A processes
- Background in travel, e-commerce, marketplace, or other high-transaction-volume businesses
