Arootah is seeking experienced compliance leaders to join its advisor network, supporting hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices with compliance programme design, regulatory guidance, and governance oversight on a project basis.
Arootah operates a curated advisor network that connects senior compliance professionals with alternative investment clients, including hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices. Advisors are deployed on project-based engagements aligned to their expertise, with client origination and engagement management handled by Arootah so that advisors can focus on delivery.
This is an opportunity to join the network rather than a guaranteed placement. Engagements span compliance programme design, SEC regulatory guidance, governance strengthening, regulatory examination support, and ongoing monitoring frameworks. The role suits compliance leaders who can operate both strategically and hands-on across dynamic client environments.
- Design, implement, and enhance compliance programmes for alternative investment firms
- Advise on SEC regulations, regulatory reporting, marketing rules, and governance best practices
- Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal policy evaluations

- Manage compliance infrastructure, service providers, and ongoing monitoring frameworks
- Prior experience as a Chief Compliance Officer or equivalent senior compliance leadership role within a hedge fund, private equity firm, or family office
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks within alternative investments
- Proven track record of building and managing effective compliance programmes
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in dynamic, project-based environments
