CTO/Technical Co-Founder (Equity-Based, Part-Time to Full-Time) - Solar Tech Startup

AgentSolar AI seeks a CTO/Technical Co-Founder to own the technical vision and architecture of their AI-powered solar platform. This equity-based role starts part-time with potential to transition to full-time following funding. You'll take ownership of the existing codebase including over 1 million solar quotes in the database, AI extraction engine, and installer marketplace.

The position involves partnering with the founder on product development and fundraising activities, including technical due diligence discussions with investors. This is an opportunity to become the long-term technical leader of a company addressing clean energy challenges through innovative AI solutions.

• Own the technical vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap
• Build and ship new platform features
• Lead and improve existing stack including Next.js, React, Firebase, and Cloud SQL
• Partner with founder on product development strategy
• Participate in fundraising and technical due diligence conversations
• Develop AI-powered features for solar quote analysis and matching

• Familiarity with frontier AI tools, concepts, and building AI products
• Proven track record of building and shipping products
• Full-stack expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Comfort with cloud infrastructure, particularly Firebase and GCP
• Startup mindset with ability to ship fast and handle ambiguity
• Genuine excitement about clean energy and marketplace products
