Fractional CFO

Twenty Eighty is a fully cloud-based financial services firm that partners with small businesses, primarily those generating between $2 million and $10 million in revenue. As Fractional CFO, you will lead client-facing financial strategy and operations, implement best-practice systems and processes, and provide the kind of senior financial oversight that enables founders to focus on growth. This is a remote position requiring 10 to 20 hours per week. Candidates must be based in Canada to be considered.

• Lead financial strategy and planning for a portfolio of small business clients
• Manage and advise on cash flow, cost tracking, and budgeting processes
• Implement best-practice financial systems and workflows suited to each client's stage
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client financial communications and reporting
• Educate clients on interpreting financial data and running sound financial operations
• Identify growth opportunities and provide forward-looking guidance to support scaling

• Proven experience in a CFO or senior finance leadership role, ideally across multiple businesses
• Comfortable working with entrepreneurs and small business owners in a fractional or advisory capacity
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, cost accounting, and financial reporting
• Experience with cloud-based financial tools and systems
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial complexity for non-finance founders
• Must be based in Canada
