Fractional Finance Director / Chief Financial Officer

Aimee Bridal Couture is seeking a Fractional Finance Director / CFO to take ownership of financial strategy and day-to-day financial management at its Glasgow boutique. The role covers budget development and monitoring, cash flow oversight, and production of accurate financial reports to support the owner and management team in decision-making. The CFO will also manage financial controls, compliance, and risk, and will contribute to pricing strategy, margin analysis, and stock investment planning.

Beyond core financial management, the role involves optimising financial processes, supporting forecasting and longer-term planning, and communicating clear performance insights to drive sustainable growth. The position is on-site in Glasgow and suits a senior finance professional with experience in retail or consumer businesses.

• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Manage cash flow and produce accurate, timely financial reports
• Oversee financial controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks
• Collaborate with the owner on pricing strategy, margin analysis, and stock investment decisions
• Optimise financial processes and maintain financial models and dashboards
• Provide clear financial insights to non-financial stakeholders to support business performance

• Demonstrated experience in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Background in financial planning and performance analysis for small or retail-based businesses
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, compliance, and risk management
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools, including financial modelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CA, or equivalent senior finance experience; background in fashion, retail, or luxury goods is advantageous
