Interim Vice President of Manufacturing

This interim role requires a hands-on operations leader to oversee site-wide functions including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement using Lean principles, support commercial teams to accelerate pipeline conversion, and maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the engagement.

The position covers a 6 to 12 month period while existing leadership focuses on specialised projects. The incoming VP will be expected to develop and execute the annual operating plan, optimise the New Product Introduction process, and mentor internal leaders to build a high-performing, accountable culture.

• Lead all aspects of site operations to achieve financial and strategic objectives using Lean manufacturing principles
• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to support key customers and ensure seamless project management
• Develop and execute the annual operating plan, reviewing performance continuously and implementing cost efficiency strategies
• Foster a collaborative, accountable culture through mentoring, succession planning, and transparent team communications
• Optimise the New Product Introduction process from sourcing through to commercialisation
• Collaborate with commercial teams to improve responses to customer briefs and accelerate pipeline conversion

• 10 or more years of progressive operations experience within an FDA-regulated environment, with CPG experience preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in high-volume, low-cost manufacturing and a track record of implementing Lean and continuous improvement principles
• Pragmatic, hands-on leadership style with the ability to navigate complex matrix organisations
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to collaborate across functions at an executive level
• Undergraduate degree required, ideally in Engineering or Business
